The Legacy of Schenk
Schenk, a family-built company founded in 1925, initially specialized in transporting sand and gravel. By 1980, under the leadership of Harry and Arjan Schenk, the focus shifted succesfully and entirely to tank transport. With no family member available to carry on the legacy by 2024, the decision was made to move beyond familial boundaries and seek new leadership outside of the company. With the arrival of it’s new CEO Marcel Claessen, a new chapter for Schenk unfolds, maintaining the family core values on which it was founded while embracing the opportunities of its next phase.
