Following the transition to mobile working over the past 12 months in response to Covid-19 and the various social distancing measures across the globe, there was a need for our staff to have flexibility while still being able to work in a productive manner that suits them. This means over 95% of our staff have or will be issued with a new laptop and peripherals for home working, including multimedia monitors for video conferencing.
This transition to remote and flexible working guarantees our commitment to the safety of our staff and their families. The upgrades to our systems and infrastructure will ensure colleagues are able to communicate, collaborate, and complete their job with the highest levels of quality in mind, no matter their location.
John Sutton, CEO of Suttons Group said, “Not only is this investment necessary to continue the high levels of service we strive to provide to our customers, it also allows us work with our staff to find the correct working environment for them, not only now but in the future. At Suttons we continuously adapt and modernise to suit the global market, and this investment is part of that overall project.”
Many of the upgrades from the investment have already been completed, and will continue over the course of 2021, ensuring the Suttons IT network supports our operations and commercial activity well into the future.
