Suttons Tankers has won a new business contract with Essar Oil UK, which started at the beginning of July, transporting products from the Stanlow Refinery to customers in the Midlands and across the North West.
Essar selected Suttons as one of their Haulier Partners to significantly strengthen its supply chain. The customer focused logistics provider were able to deliver sustainable added value through providing Essar with a solution delivering competitive advantage, facilitating sales growth and visibility of a clear cost to serve.
With flexibility and reliability being key requirements, the scale of the Suttons network was a key factor in meeting Essar’s business needs.
The strategic objectives of both businesses are well aligned and Suttons has the capability to assist in enabling Essar’s aspirational growth strategy. Suttons is keen to expand in the fuels sector and demonstrated a willingness to invest, as well as having the ability to offer agility and flexibility to meet the customer’s needs.
