Sunny Zhu takes up the position after 14 years with the company in China, having held a number of senior operational and commercial positions.
Andrew Palmer, Group Managing Director of Suttons, said:
“Sunny understands our business and the markets in which we operate. This makes her the perfect person to lead Suttons’ business in North Asia during this period of strong growth and investment.”
Earlier this year the company invested £9.5m in new isotanks to further support its international expansion.
The first batch of six hundred tanks have just been delivered and brings the total investment in new isotanks to more than £20m in the last two years, almost doubling the size of its fleet.
Suttons is based in the UK and operates globally with key business centres also in Essen, Houston, Kuantan, Le Havre, New Jersey, Shanghai, Singapore and Tokyo.
