Emergency Response

Schenk UK operates a tiered reaction system which allows us to respond to any emergency as quickly and effectively as possible. The level of response is dependent on the severity of the emergency.

Compliance and Cooperation

As well as working closely with the Emergency Services and the Environmental Agency, we conduct regular refresher training courses with our emergency response staff to ensure that we are well-equipped to deal with all emergencies. This capability is further supported by a variety of third-party partners such as vehicle recovery agents, to provide an emergency response service that you can rely on. Our Three-tier Reaction System.

At Schenk UK, we believe that prevention is better than response. As such, we invest in extensive training and safety measures to prevent incidents from happening in the first place. Accidents can and do happen, which is where our tiered emergency response system comes in.

  • Level 1 – A 24-hour telephone line which can be reached to provide response to the emergency.
  • Level 2 – A direct telephone line to the manufacturer of the product.
  • Level 3 –  Schenk UK will attend the incident and handle any problems accordingly using our emergency response vehicle.

Although it is very rarely required, Schenk UK Level Three Emergency Response capability is ready to attend any incident at any time. Our emergency response teams are made up of fully-trained Schenk UK personnel and fully-equipped vehicles to react to any situation.

Schenk International operates a multilingual level one response system, with dedicated members for the US and China and a non-specific member for the rest of the international business.
