Robust and Compliant Measures

Each security measure that Schenk UK undertakes is done so in compliance with European ADR regulations, and every one of our tractor units is equipped with a sophisticated tracking device. This enables us to locate the vehicle within seconds to provide our customers with regular updates on delivery. In the event that a vehicle deviates from its planned route, an alarm will notify our operators who will respond immediately.

Systematic Depot Audits

We carry out regular inspections at all our depots, with a particular focus on our perimeter security and surveillance, which we are always looking to improve. Following a recent audit, we enhanced CCTV systems across the board using the latest technology, upgraded access controls at a number of our offices, and we are currently in the process of further extending the security awareness training that we deliver to all Schenk UK employees.

Global events faced in recent years have highlighted the importance of protecting ourselves and our customers from the threats posed by terrorism. Schenk UK has received government briefing, and we have trained our employees with techniques to help them avoid vulnerable situations, especially when traveling into areas which they are unfamiliar with.

COMAH Regulated

Our St Helens depot is a COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards) regulated Upper Tier establishment. These regulations ensure that our business takes all the necessary precautions required to prevent major accidents and to limit the consequences to people and the environment of any major accidents should one occur.

Data Protection Measures

Schenk UK understands the importance of data protection and, as such, will never take company information unless required. We have our own confidential waste disposal system on-site along with a certificate of destruction. We work closely with leading consultants to make sure that all our data is GDPR compliant.
