Our drivers are rigorously trained in a variety of ways, from defensive driving through to safety and compliance. They are also trained to understand the products they are transporting and their potentially hazardous nature.
Knowledge and Skills
At Suttons Group, we place a great deal of emphasis on acquiring the technical skills and knowledge required to ensure our fleet of tanks are the most sophisticated and effective in the industry. This includes a wide range of aspects, including:
- Design
- Manufacturing
- Technical IT
- Hazard
Not only do we acquire this knowledge, we also share it with our customers around the world. We work with our customers to offer tank container training that explains construction in detail and help them to understand the technologies and processes of our fleet of tanks, as well as the equipment we use.
Safety
In order to safely train our staff, customers, and third parties, we have constructed an interactive tank container at our Cheshire depot. This allows us to safely let people walk inside and climb on top of the tank to teach them about the equipment. This full-size tank container provides an imaginative safety training initiative that was implemented in pursuit of our goal for safety excellence.
