The Intermodal department of Schenk has grown significantly over the past 10 years, with a fleet of special gas containers for propellants and refrigerants, cryogenic tank containers for industrial gases, CO2, and LNG. Additionally, we have liquid tanks with coatings, heating, or special connections.
The company has now established its own workshop where a small team maintains the entire tank fleet (1,000 tanks)
What does this job entail?
As a Gas & Cryo Technician, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
Repair and Maintenance: You will independently repair damage to the frame and body of various tank trailers and perform periodic maintenance and inspection work.
Diagnosis and Revision: You will independently diagnose problems, and revising valves is a strong advantage.
Safety and Technology: You will conduct gas measurements and pressure tests, in addition to performing electrical repairs.
