In our own workshop in Alblasserdam, we maintain and repair our own fleet with great professionalism and passion. This fleet consists of over 400 tractors and trailers, as well as the fleet for an increasing number of external customers. Our team of mechanics ensures that our drivers, as well as those of our customers, can carry out their tasks safely. The workshop team consists of a motivated group of commercial vehicle and tank mechanics, supported by an efficient front-office team, ensuring that all workshop activities are managed smoothly.

For the workshop team, consisting of approximately 20 mechanics and supporting staff, we are looking for enthusiastic and service-oriented commercial vehicle mechanics.

What does this job entail?

  • Independently diagnosing problems with the fleet;
  • Independently performing (inspection) checks on the fleet;
  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance on both tractors and trailers;
  • Independently calibrating the tachograph;
  • Assisting during inspections at the ADR inspection station of the RDW;
  • Participating in on-call services outside regular working hours.

What are we looking for?

  • Completed MBO (secondary vocational education) in Commercial Vehicle Technology or at least 3 years of demonstrable work experience in a similar role;
  • Knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, and possibly hydraulic systems;
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials is a plus;
  • Possess the following competencies: quality awareness, decisiveness, flexibility, teamwork, customer orientation, stress resistance;
  • A collegial attitude;
  • A positive and engaged attitude;
  • Good command of the Dutch and/or English language;
  • Preferably in possession of a driving license C (and E).
